Adult Education at Saint Bridget
Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)
RCIA is a process that helps adults reflect on their faith journey & discover how Catholics live the Christian faith. Participants may come to a decision about entering into full communion with the Catholic Church.
Persons who are baptized in another Faith tradition may join the Catholic Church on three different dates during the year. Unbaptized persons enter the Church at the Easter Vigil. They will have spent a year of preparation before this. RCIA Sponsors are Catholics who serve as a mentor & a guide to an adult thinking about joining the Catholic Church.
If you are considering joining the Catholic Church or have any questions about the RCIA process please contact Teresa Lee, 804.525.7896.
