The Saints and Sinners will sponsor an information session on Probate and Wills on Thursday, October 19th (10:00–12:00pm) in the Parish Commons. The Clerk of the Henrico Court and an expert in elder law will discuss the issues to anticipate and how to approach them. Ms. Heidi Barshinger, Clerk of the Henrico Circuit Court, and Mr.Shawn Majette, an attorney specializing in elder law at Thompson McMullen law firm, will speak about the important considerations regarding probate. What is it? What should you expect when it occurs? This discussion will provide information that may help your family through the probate process during a difficult time and possibly avoid major issues. There will be time for questions. Please bring some Danish to share.
