Approximately 90 children are preparing to celebrate their First Reconciliations on Saturday mornings, January 14 and 21 at 9:00AM. Please pray for them as they have their first of many encounters with the merciful Lord in this grace-filled sacrament.

2017 March for Life - Friday, January 27th - The annual March for Life will be held Friday, January 27, 2017 in Washington, D. C. Come join hundreds of thousands marching for life in the nation’s capital, calling for change and the defeat of Roe vs. Wade. You will be amazed at the energy and commitment of those present, including so many youth and college age marchers from across the nation. Morning of Recollection for Women: There will be a Morning of Recollection for Women on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Chapel of the Comboni Missionary Sisters, located at 1307 Lakeside Avenue. Meditations will be given by a priest of the Prelature of Opus Dei. Mass will be celebrated at 11:45 a.m., and there will be an opportunity to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation. What is Alpha? Alpha is a 10-week course that meets once a week and focuses on your relationship with Jesus and the Holy Spirit. We meet for dinner, watch a video and have small group discussions. Maybe you have a friend or loved one who has been away from the church for a while and would be perfect to get involved with Alpha?
