July 29th Food Drive

Our July Food Drive will be held on the 29th of July in front of Saint Bridget between 8:45 and 11:00am! Please prayefully consider helping others have enough food to eat! Our July food drive will restock the food pantry at Commonwealth Catholic Charities which provides food to many needy in the community. See their list of desired items below. Gift cards from Kroger or Walmart are welcome, as are checks made out to CCC. Please donate school supplies for children at local schools. Mark your calendar! We are so excited about “Where are You God? Learning the Language of Prayer” -- a series of talks by Scott Campolongo. These talks about prayer will be geared toward families praying together. The series begins with the first session on Thursday, July 20th, and will be held on three consecutive Thursdays; July 20th, 27th, and August 3rd from 7-8pm in the Church Hall. Father O'Reilly will begin his candidacy year with the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Peter, a society dedicated to the Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite. He will be assigned to St. Vitus Parish in San Fernando, CA. We pray for Father’s safety as he drives cross-country and for continued graces and blessings in his priestly ministry. Please join us on Monday, June 26, at the 8:00 a.m. Morning Mass as we bid Father O’Reilly a fond farewell. Mass will be followed by a reception in the Commons.
