Newly ordained Father Daniel Cogut will be in residence in our rectory during July. Father Danny will be assisting with Masses and confessions, hospital and assisted living visits. In August Father Danny will go to his first assignment as a priest, to be parochial vicar at the newly clustered Richmond parishes of St. Patrick. St. Peter and St. John. Feast Day Mass for St. Josemaria , the Founder of Opus Dei, at St. Bridget Catholic Church, Richmond A special Mass of the Feast Day of St. Josemaria Escriva, the Founder of Opus Dei, will be celebrated Friday evening, June 19, at 7:00 at St. Bridget Catholic Church.  The Mass will be celebrated by Rev. Lawrence Kutz, a priest of the Prelature of Opus Dei.  Confessions will be available from 2 to 5 pm and 6:00 to 6:45 pm.  A reception will follow the Mass.  All are welcome!

Announcing Armstrong Academy  A new human concerns initiative supported by the Living Our Mission Diocesan campaign.  Two thirds of the freshmen coming into Armstrong High School in the East end of Richmond are two to three grade levels below where they should be. The academy is seeking to get everyone up to grade level by the time they are sophomores.
