The Saint Bridget Middle and High School youth groups signed and added prayers to a banner that will travel to Houston, Tx this weekend to be displayed at a Catholic Conference for the youth and young adult community there.
The Encounter Conference is aimed at young adults and families and draws attendees from across the US, but the majority of conference goers are from some of the areas hardest hit by the recent Hurricane. "Adore," the ministry that is putting on the event, has been working non-stop since the hurricane to provide relief and assistance to some of the poorest and hardest hit neighborhoods in Houston. Many of those families have been invited to the weekend conference free of charge and we look forward to displaying the banner for them so they know the community in Richmond is praying for them! Saint Bridget Youth Minister, Dan Harms will be speaking at the event.
